Hunting Big Game in the Canadian Northwest hunters are exposed to various types of weather. Hunters should come prepared for both warm and cold conditions. We suggest considering bringing the following items;
Warm Sleeping Bag
Warm Cap & Gloves
Rain Gear (Pants & Jacket)
Long Johns/Insulated Underwear
Leather Hiking boots(well worn)
Rifle and Ammunition
Pack Boots(late season)

2 Coats(1 heavy and 1 light)
Towel and Personal Gear
Binoculars and Day pack
Wool Pants(from Sept. 1 on)
Flashlight & extra batteries
Camp slippers w/rubber sole

It is also a good idea to follow the weather conditions in the area a week or two before your trip to get a general idea as the conditions you will be hunting in. We recommend visiting the Atlin Area Weather Office.
