Mountain Goats have hooves which have hard outside edges with soft center pads for steep climbing. Our mountain goat average 9 - 10 inches in horn length. Since we began hunting the area in 1987 and have been 98% successful to date. All mountain goat hunting involves backpacking and can be rigorous.

Spotting Animals

Mountain Goat hunts can involve a large degree of walking and some serious backpacking to obtain good trophy billies. We recommend being in good physical condition, capable of walking and climbing with heavy backpacks in rugged remote country.
